We had such a wonderful weekend stay! The kids absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. The restaurant food was delicious, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the sauna, jacuzzi, and pool were all perfect. Highly recommend!

The bathtub had some discoloration, not sure if it was stained or the beginning of mold. The rubber non slip mat was also discolored. We had dinner in the Cascade dinning room and had a disappointing experience. Overall not worth the time, money or energy.

My husband and I travel to a new place in Washington every year to visit on our birthdays and anniversary, which are all in January. This year was my turn to pick a place. My husband was elated and so surprised. Everyone was friendly, the food was tasty, and the Lodge is squeaky clean! The grounds are beautiful! There was an issue with the Riverview I was looking forward to but the room had a hot water issue, so we were given a forest view with a fireplace. (We had our choice to keep the riverview) It was toasty warm. The only thing I would say is that the bed could have been a little more comfortable, as my husbands back and my hips were achy each morning. We would definitely come back to Skamania Lodge! Thank you!

The property is amazing and the food at both restaurants is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had some additional requests and they delivered in record time. I mistakenly ordered something on the menu that ended up having an allergen in it and they replaced the meal with something different and don’t even charge for either. I went on to spend the additional on their great cocktails. The out door hot tub and River views from the hotel are 5 star. This is our new favorite local getaway spot.

Two things could have been better - toilet paper - let’s level up to 2 ply you guys are two high end for single! Free coffee in the am - a nice gesture but add a little more coffee to the water and it’s perfect!

The room was clean & the TV and cable were adequate. Overall though the bed was old the mattress springs were poking out of the side of the mattress and the blanket in closet was in tatters. The air conditioning was noisy when it cycled, the water pressure in the shower was dismal you felt like it took several rinses to get soap out of your hair. At the Cascade restaurant there most prestigious of the eateries on premise we stood for over 5 minutes waiting for the hostess took a future reservation and entered it in the computer again we were the only ones in line and it was certainly not busy at the lunch hour. The waiter likewise was not very solicitous and again there was hardly any patrons in the Restaurant at the time. Let me also say we booked through Expedia there was no mention that our booking would not include resort fees and parking fees of $15 per night something that Skamania just added to there charges as of June 2025. Also resort fee was $18.75 per night also extra on top of Expedia charges. We ordered room service something you weren’t allowed to order the night before. Food arrived in all to go utensils such as paper cup for the oatmeal and paper cups for coffee and no salt n pepper or ketchups for eggs. Overall a very average stay and that’s not a very high compliment for such an old established prestigious and pricey property. Personnel were nice but overall very average
