The condo was built in the 1960s or 70s and is showing it's age. The company has done a great job trying to rehab the unit without huge success. The bed was the most uncomfortable I've slept in that I can remember. It was lumpy and made my muscles ache. The company charged us a $73 cleaning fee for a 2 night stay in addition to the $35 Hotels.com com charged to cash in reward nights. So our 'free' 2 nights were really over $100. Not happy

Older condo but perfect for our needs. Wish there was a pool, but the hot tub and the tables around it were very nice and clean. Very easy walk down to the Gondola square but not alot of reasonably priced food choices. The places that would have suited our needs were not open so we had to get in our car and drive. Parking was convenient. I would stay there again!

Not worth it!

We learned immediately that the toilet wasn't flushing and reported it to the front desk. A maintenance person showed up pretty quickly but it still was not working when he left. Called again. After a few hours we called again. Another guy came and called a plumber. Plumber didn't have a needed part. So, short story long....we had no working toilet and no other room to go to. We also had no WiFi and unable to get cell service at this location. Basically, this was a ski bum flop house.

Great ski in/ski out condo.

During our winter ski trip we loved the cozy gas fireplace, the hot tub right outside our door and the gondola passing overhead. You can ski out pretty easily but pay attention to where you need to turn off the run to ski back into the parking lot. If you are walking to the base area consider walking on the ski run past the Ptarmigan because the sidewalk is steep and a longer route. There is a great convenience store two blocks down the road.

great place to stay

This was my first trip back to Steamboat in almost 20 years but it was as beautiful as ever! The hotel was great and quite a bargain for what we paid. I wish the Jacuzzi was in a better location (was beside the parking lot) but I'm sure it is easy for skiiers to acess in the winter. It was also great to have a full kitchen and although we did not use it, the full fridge was appreciated for to go items and drinks for our hike up the ski mountain. The only real complaint was no A/C and even though it was cool at night it became a little warm during the day.
