A stylish, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped house to enjoy your stay feeling at home. Located in Statte, a quiet town with its small historic centre and the natural spectacle of the Gravina di Leucaspide. Only 10 minutes from Taranto "City of the Two Seas". which can also be reached from the nearby bus stop. In Taranto, you can enjoy the view and visit of the Aragonese Castle, the view of the navigable canal from the Ponte Girevole (swing bridge), the splendid walk along its Lungomare (waterfront promenade) and, last but not least, its tasty gastronomy. Not forgetting a visit to its Old Town, an island of fishermen (united by two bridges) with its Hypogeum and the splendid Cathedral of San Cataldo. Beyond the Ponte Girevole is the important MArTa National Archaeological Museum with its beautiful Magna Grecia artefacts.
The accommodation is also close to the small railway station that connects Statte to the baroque Martina Franca (home of the Itria Valley International Festival of Classical Music) and the fantastic Alberobello with its trulli. Here, too, gastronomy reigns supreme with the traditional 'fornello pronto'.
Alice's House is strategically equidistant for those who wish to reach both the Adriatic and Ionian coasts by car in a day and have the pleasure of returning home after a bathing approach on the marvellous beaches and crystal-clear sea that bathes Apulia.
