Secluded Mountain Cabin with Spectacular Views- Hiker's Dream

4WD/AWD REQUIRED!!
This newly constructed cabin is extremely secluded and has unbelievable views of the Shenandoah Valley from the top of Great North Mountain. The cabin features a sprawling deck with 2 porch swings, an outside dining space and a grill. The upstairs of the Cabin has 2 bedrooms with a bathroom off the master as well as an additional full bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking with seating at the island as well has a dining room table. Finished basement features a desk, pull out couch for additional sleeping, full bathroom, and dart board. The game room has a pool table and air hockey table. This cabin is a hikers dream with private access to the Tuscarora Trail and near many amazing hiking spots, including Eagle Rock.
**Please Note: You MUST have an All-Wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive vehicle regardless of weather conditions. The route to the cabin is very long and steep. We highly recommend that you get there before dark and if you will be arriving late we ask that you let us know so we can prepare accordingly.

INCLEMENT WEATHER. Safety is a huge priority for us and we will be monitoring for icy or snowy conditions. If this occurs, the driveway could potentially be too dangerous to travel. If the driveway is unsafe to travel, we will inform guests as soon as possible and discuss their options.

We will block the months of January until April on VRBO but feel free to reach out if you are interested in booking during these months. Because of weather, we will take it on a case by case basis based on road conditions and the weather forecast.

INSECTS. Since the cabin is in the woods, certain times of year there can be more insects than normal, primarily stink bugs and ladybugs.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

The property was very clean and everything was in good condition. The communication with host was very good. The views are amazing. The peace and quiet was wonderful. Our stay here was wonderful despite the horrible weather it rained and had 20mph winds the entire 3 nights we spent there so we never did get to see a beautiful view but the house is wonderful comfortable and had a lot to offer to do, from board games to pool table and air hockey which was nice! No cleaning supplies to clean and wipe down counters after meals but we managed not a big deal! The detail in the house was beautiful! We will be back when it’s not raining lol

Secluded and perfect!

Fantastic stay! Our host was great and there were no issues or hiccups but if there had been I'm sure they would have been resolved quickly. I cant say enough about this place. Clean, high end and just as peaceful as it seems in the pictures. The decks and views are AMAZING!! Highly recommended and we plan to be back there again!

Amazing views from the mountaintop

The perfect Thanksgiving family venue! This place has amazing views, the backyard is a hiking trail, it has a huge fireplace that we kept going our entire stay, plenty of games, plenty of space for your own fun or relaxation and a huge deck with swings to enjoy the views!! Would highly recommend this to anyone with AWD or 4WD!!

This was the most perfect place to stay. The entire home was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The view is stunning, and the outlook was a perfect place to watch the sunrise.
