This laid-back, modern shotgun-style getaway offers an open living area with new double reclining sofa, fully stocked kitchen, two full bathrooms with tub/shower combos and one cozy bedroom on the main floor with a queen size bed and office area. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms for a peaceful night's sleep. The second bedroom has a full size bed and sitting area, while the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. The second bath is right at the bottom of the stairs and beside the spacious laundry room.

The house was a perfect size for our family of 6 adults and one medium sized dog to relax and play games after hiking at the nearby Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked with towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies. We even found an extension cord to use because we forgot ours. The privacy patio out back is very nice for cookouts and relaxing around the fire pit. Connie was very friendly, easy to contact, responded quickly to our questions and even provided snacks. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would rent here again.

Great place to stay for our girl’s trip. Very close to Kroger. Had plenty of room for our party of 4. We slept well, had plenty of towels, and had a welcoming Kroger card and breakfast bars waiting for us. Will definitely keep this place in mind if we ever can get back to the area!

This home was perfect for our stay. The house was stocked beautifully with more towels than needed. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The back courtyard was so cute even though we did not get a chance to use. We were in a great location for hiking and exploring Red River Gorge and UTV ride at Out the Top. Wonderful Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! This cute home had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and we loved the back patio. This location was a quick drive to many hiking trails and to the wedding we were attending. If we ever find ourselves in the area we would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and Cozy

We needed a place to stay while exploring Red River Gorge with our dog and this fit the bill. It is an older home that has been updated. Fridge and AC worked well. Both bathrooms were convenient. The fenced back area was nice to sit and play with our dog. Floors were a little unlevel but that's minor and only mention it to be fair. It is close to a Kroger grocery and plenty of places to eat within a short drive. We walked the neighborhood with our dog and it is a very quiet area.

Relaxing Home Base for Exploring the Gorge

My husband, dog, and I stayed here for a two-night getaway to visit Red River Gorge, and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage was exactly as described: tastefully decorated, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials without feeling overdone. Thoughtful touches like snacks and a few bottles of Ale-8 in the fridge did not go unnoticed.There’s plenty to do and see within a 30-minute drive, and having a Kroger just a short walk away was incredibly convenient. The porch and fenced-in patio out back really tied everything together, making it a relaxing and well-rounded place to stay.We’re especially grateful that it’s pet-friendly! Our dog loved being included in the adventure. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Good location clean & nicely decorated property

We came to hike and kayak and stay in a nice house rather than hotel. We arrived very late after a 9 hour drive. Had a little hiccup with getting in the property. VRBO was responsive and the host made it right. Home is very clean and cute and fit our needs. We cooked ant home the kitchen had what we needed. Overall we had a good stay. Conveniently located to our activities and gas station and Kroger across the street

Great Place to Stay close to the Red River Gorge area

This location was a perfect distance to the Red River Gorge Area. There were also plenty of dining options nearby and a Kroger that was really close for convenience. The place was very clean and quiet, and materials were easy to find and were well organized. The host provided guides and information to local areas which helped with planning daily activities. There was also a notebook where individuals who previously stayed shared the different activities and locations they visited during their stay. This location was a great place to come back to for down time after hikes with board games, a full functioning kitchen, and a nice tv. The wifi works great, which was a concern since many places to stay near Red River Gorge did not have wifi. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to stay near the Red River Gorge area.

Perfect family home for RRG and Natural Bridge Visit

This home was perfect for our family during our visit to the area. It was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The decor was great and there is nothing else you need upon arrival. The outdoor space was very nice and the convenience of local grocery store was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

A great home base for small groups. Clean & comfortable in a convenient location. Grocery shopping, restaurants and freeways very close.
