Welcoming and helpful staff

I recently stayed at the Hilton at Stansted Airport and was very pleased with my experience. The room was well laid out, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, and a very large shower — everything i needed for a relaxing night before an early flight. What stood out most was the exceptional service. The reception staff were proactively helpful and welcoming, making check-in and any questions i had effortless. I had an issue with my room‘s air-conditioning, which was immediately resolved after calling reception from the room The included buffet breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of options, all fresh and good quality. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, even at a very early hour of the morning All in all, a smooth, comfortable stay that made travelling through Stansted much easier. Connected access to and from airport departures to hotel reception takes 5-8mins, step free and mostly undercover. Highly recommended!

Great service and breakfast

Great service and breakfast. The food was hot, there were two serving locations and four coffee machines, meaning no waiting behind the inevitable person who dithers. My wake-up call was on time and the receptionist accompanied me to the lift when my key-card wouldn’t work. A 5-minute, covered walk from the airport terminal. Really took the stress out of an early morning flight, so would definitely consider this option again.

Terrible service. Tv not working. Wouldn’t change room. Waited 2 hours for food, which didn’t come, so had to order takeaway. Understaffed and rude staff.

Excellent breakfast from 4am, great location

Incredibly convenient hotel to travel from Stansted Airport. The cooked and continental breakfast buffet from 4am was brilliant. We can understand why other reviews mention visiting purely for the breakfast. It is a quiet calm start to a day of travelling with welcoming, efficient and attentive staff. Good facilities include a vending machine for all the useful small items you might have forgotten such as phone chargers, suitcase padlocks, teddy bears and card games. The flight departure board in reception is very helpful. The only things that would have made our stay even better were a choice of pillows in our room and the sofa bed was quite small - keep this in mind if you have tweens or teenagers.

The hotel itself was superb but the walkway to it wasn’t as easy as described, dark and rerouted out of the shelter for works in progress. The directions weren’t easy to find. But the hotel itself was great and no complaints. Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was good.
