Gem in an old gold rush town!

This is an older hotel, but it is kept up nicely. Stanley itself is very small, so not a lot of food and lodging options. We were pleasantly surprised by the hot springs on property - didn't know about it! The room was fairly clean (although found strands of hair in the sink). The hot springs were definitely the highlight, but need better signage to get there, especially at night.

Parking was ample, in the front and rear of the lodge. Office staff very detailed, friendly, and kind. Quickly got me a new key when U messed up the first one. Very clean and as a senior like to walk in safe shower. Thanks!!

We love the town of Stanley but the hotel itself is very dated and did not feel clean. The room had a funny, musty smell and there were chips and bottle caps on the floor when we arrived so I don't believe our room was properly cleaned prior to our arrival. Also, there are many dead bugs in the window sill. The staff at the front desk was friendly and we loved the location, but the cleaning staff

Cannot complain about anything. Have to just make note that the outside lights outside our door as well and several doors were burned out. It was difficult to see even the room numbers as well as the key placement box on the door. But it’s not a complaint as much as just a note. And I forgot to let the desk clerk know before we left.

Stayed one night. It was quiet. What we didn't like: the bathroom. Toilet was made for midgets, showerhead was small, tub drain was very slow. Stood in 3" of water while you showered. We didnt need it, but there isnt air conditioning. A floor fan and wall heater service the room. Beds were comfy, tv and remote are not user friendly. Room was clean, floor squeaky in bathroom.
