The cabin and area were beautiful, but be aware the area is rustic with one lane gravel roads. The bathrooms are on different levels one downstairs one upstairs. There are only 2 closets in the cabin that are usable and there is only 1 towel rack in the bathrooms. Furniture was rustic and uncomfortable. Downstairs trundle bed and futon were broken so they were unusable for our entire weeks stay requiring some guests to make alternative arrangements. It was a shame because this cabin was large enough for 8. Kitchen was well supplied and hot tub was clean and enjoyable. The rental agency stated we would be refunded some of the rental cost although it’s been over a week since we were told that and so far-no refund.
We had to bag our own trash and put it in our car and drive over 2 miles to dispose of at checkout. We were told this was not the norm for all cabins.
Overall we would stay at Lydia Mountain Cabins again, however this cabins furnishings were subpar and with the limited closet space and lack of bathroom towel racks we would choose another cabin.
