Great location, spacious rooms, and very helpful and friendly staff. Very good value for money, especially with breakfast included. The breakfast was very tasty. Unfortunately the decor is out dated, and the whole hotel needs a bit of TLC. The room needed a deep clean, but it was fine for a one night stay. We stayed during the heatwave and there was no air conditioning, but the window was left open before we arrived, and a fan provided to help with the heat.

Our stay at the vine was lovely, Pros convenient right in the centre, Loverly friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, tea coffee facilities. Cons, steep narrow stairs upto the top floor, really squeaky floor boards in the room kept waking others up in the room when getting up to use the bathroom in the night. Second time I’ve stayed and would definitely visit again.
