Stadlern is idyllically located in the Upper Palatinate Forest, right on the border with the Czech Republic – ideal for nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking peace and quiet. From the house, trails lead to Hochfels and along the historic border path. A swimming pond and a playground in the village provide variety, especially for families. Excursions are recommended to the old town of Cham, to the Czech city of Pilsen known for its brewing tradition, and to the Moorbad Schönsee which has a playground. Cyclists and winter sports enthusiasts will also find suitable routes and quiet trails.
