Margaritaville St. Thomas Review

Had to waite on courtesy cart drivers too long, if they showed up when requested. Did a lot of walking. The restaurant service was just okay, most of the time food was received warm and not hot. For the price of food, everything should have been hot and fresh. And finally the room, room looked wonderful as the property is gorgeous. But something bit me and the daughter at the foot of the bed, not cool.

This property needs a complete remodel. Spent 4 nights here and will never return. The good, the staff were all friendly, i only had 1 issue with them, as i waited almost 30 minutes for a cart to the lobby and missed the shuttle to the beach. That was resolved, as they put us in a taxi on them. The room could use updating but was ok. The bad, they never serviced my room in the 4 nights i stayed. I was informed at check-in they dont do it everyday but i wasn't informed they don't do it at all during your stay. I had hot water the first night only, ot was lukewarm at best every other time and you had to let it run to get that temperature. The bathroom door always got stuck and took 2 people to open. The beach was unusable, but we were informed beforehand but the smell was too much. The restaurant gets 2/10, we went 4 times, as nothing rlse was close. Per the waitress recommendation we got the seafood mac & cheese, which was delicious the first 2 times. The 3rd tasted old. The buffalo wings were good as well. Everything else we had was horrible. The nachos were stale. The jerk pork tacos were sweet, nothing jerk about them. Hotel is pretty boring. The staff is the only good thing about this hotel.

I canceled my reservation at Margaritaville in St. Thomas due to the overwhelming seaweed odor that made it unbearable to stay. Despite notifying management, I was still charged and received no helpful response. Very disappointing customer service—definitely not the paradise getaway advertised.

The property had us sign up to do a 1.5 hour presentation for a time share. They charged us $160 If we did this presentation we would get tickets to an attraction in St Thomas and a sailboat sunset champagne tour plus a 3 day stay at any Wyndham resort. We wasted 2 hours of our vacation doing this time share selling but did not buy any time share. We DIDNT GET ANYTHING from the resort that we paid $160 for doing the sell thing. We tried to talk to the resort to get the date changed to another day while we were there to go on the tour, nope you forfiet the trip and your money. Then we went to use the code for the attraction and it was invalid. And I never got anything about the 3 day stay at another Wyndham property. The resort also refused to refund our money. The beach was closed due to seaweed and the smell at the resort was so bad we had to be away from the resort all day and only slept there. The toilet in our room was broken and there was someone elses hair still all over the bathroom.

Beautiful property. There images does not do it justice. They have the most beautiful rooftop bar over looking the water with an infinity pool. Drinks were BOGO 4-6 which was great!!! The property is gorgeous

The air conditioner in our room was terrible. There was no way to control it from the room. The ice machines did not work at any location. The beach was dirty and extremely disgusting with sargassum. The restaurant food was just okay. Staff were not attentive and they charged an 18% gratuity. I would not recommend staying here.
