We stayed at this hotel for one night and for the price that we paid, we couldn’t have been happier with what we received. The front desk staff attendant was very friendly and efficient and took care of everything. There are a lot of steps in this very historic property but it’s a really cool building and they keep it up really well. We were there just as the airspace shut down happened after Venezuela and I was so impressed with how the staff was trying to help everyone out. If you are looking for a quick place to stay and don’t want to spend a lot of money, this hotel is definitely for you. I was so pleasantly surprised. Thank you very much to everyone.

The staff was very friendly and kind, especially at reception. Our room was the triple bed, and it did not have windows/ egress which made the air quality and safety questionable. The food at the included breakfast was terrific. An affordable place for our quick pitstop on St. Thomas.

“Outdoor pool” was a 12x10 little rooftop thing. The breakfast area also sat around another trapezoid shaped 8 x 6 “pool” There are NO elevators. If you are on the top floor, be prepared to haul your luggage up at least 60 stairs. The building itself is showing its age. It’s absolutely a “fixer-upper” type of property. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The daily breakfast was awesome - good food, beautiful view, and absolutely wonderful staff. I also enjoyed the Sugarcane Grill for drinks and dinner. Small, quiet, reasonably priced hotel conveniently located. You MUST be able to climb steps for pretty much all rooms - top floors are 3 flights up. BTW: YOU NEED CASH FOR TAXIS, which is the only way around (we didn't know this!). ATMs aren't always working, so get more than you need when you have the chance.

The staff was the best part as they are helpful and friendly. The place has very poor internet. Myself and other hotel guests had to leave the room and go by the pool to access internet service. Even by the pool, the signal kept dropping. The television wasn't working. Other guests complained of the same. The bathroom shower could not lock off totally. When i walked in, it was leaking. I had to close the bathroom door to stop the leakinh shower from disturbing my sleep. Then there are some minor cleanliness issues such as the rusting on the beside lamps and door handles, and dirty light switches. The bed though comfortable, squeaks a lot with every move.

Hotel was very difficult to find for us. No elevator and steep stairs to get to rooms. Hotel is showing quite a bit of wear but it is close to the airport and all staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and I had an excellent salmon. Breakfast is included but restaurant style with few choices although we were fine with it.

What a wonderfully, quaint hotel! The staff is amazing. They were helpful and extremely courteous. The rooms are showing their age but they are spotless. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking and shopping. We dined at the hotel and had a wonderful meal. I can’t say enough good things to say about our stay at Bunker Hill hotel in St Thomas.
