Parking was sufficient as its first come first serve. Breakfast was not as delightful however it was a grab n go set up. Utensils weren’t readily available but otherwise the hotel itself was great. The workers are the best takeaway.

The room was dirty outdated shower curtain had mold all on the inside of it with no AC in the bathroom. We didn’t even have a door handle on our door. It was just a hook that somebody screwed into it and a deadbolt. No secondary lock did not feel safe Right by the road on the downhill side of the hill dining room was closed. We had to walk quite a bit away down the steps on slippery tile when it was raining not safe at all very dirty place would not recommend.

We recently stayed at Mafolie Hotel from July 18–21, 2025, and while we truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of office staff, there were several aspects of our visit that did not meet our expectations. To begin, we were not informed at the time of booking that the restaurant would be undergoing renovations. Dining on-site was something we were very much looking forward to, so learning of its closure upon arrival was disappointing. The limited poolside food options did not adequately make up for this and left us needing to seek meals elsewhere, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the photos on the website appear to be outdated and no longer reflect the hotel’s current condition. We were surprised by the ongoing construction, dated interiors, and the overall atmosphere, which differed significantly from what had been advertised online. We had also requested to have rooms near each other, as we were traveling as a group, but were assigned rooms in separate areas of the property. This made coordination during our stay unnecessarily challenging. Furthermore, we felt uneasy that the room doors lacked a secondary security feature such as a latch or chain.

I wish I knew they were under renovations, the restaurant is closed and the breakfasts is grab and go. Beside that, service here is amazing, the views an incredible and my birthday room upgrade was amazing!!! I would stay here again, after the restaurant opens and pool side bar re opens. The view was to die for beautiful and we received friendly service, the hostess at front desk was very attentive. Breakfast options was basic. I was “given an upgrade” but after reviewing what I had originally booked vs what I got I feel it was a downgraded. I originally book a standard room and was place in a tiny room. We thought nothing of it since she mention we got upgraded. It wasn’t until mid week that we went in the website and compare what we had originally booked vs what we got, I feel the upgrade was the view, which can be admire from most of the rooms so not really and upgrade in my eyes. Other than that it was a nice place to stay at
