Winter Getaway

We had a wonderful time during our two weeks day here. Lots of pickleball and easy access to the beach. We observed dolphins almost daily off the balcony. The unit was well stocked for doing our own cooking and the grills in the common area were good as well.

Fresh and pretty with great views

We have stayed in Indian Shores more times than I can count and many of those stays have been at BSYTC. We find that the building meets all our needs while still being one of the more affordable in the area. This unit in particular was fresh and pretty with great views. Only complaint was that the mattresses are very hard. Would happily stay here again but would bring mattress toppers or something if I were to drive. Thanks for a great stay!

Bayshores 509 Review

We stayed at Bayshores 509 for two weeks in February 2025 and had a wonderful stay. The views of the intercoastal from this unit are spectacular and we saw dolphins and/or manatees virtually every day. The unit was comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen and also beach items such as folding chairs. Nice patio furniture on the lanai. Our iTrip representative and the owner were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had during our stay.

The unit wasn't very clean. The carpet on the lanai was littered with debris and sand, which got tracked back into the condo when we went out on it. Several of the cooking utensils (Pan and spatula) required washing before use, as they had food caked to them. The 2nd bathroom sink has a gross yellow stain in the sink basin. The carpet in the family room and kitchen weren't very clean and didn't appear to have been freshly vacuumed/cleaned. Overall, we looked passed these things and enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and local restaurants and appreciated the provided beach chairs and umbrella. We just felt like it was run more like a cheap hotel than a vacation rental, with the limited supply of cheap toilet paper, and absence of beach towels for the beach. Also, the ongoing construction during our stay was a bit of a nuisance.
