Make yourself at home in this inviting two-bedroom vacation beach cottage in Madeira Beach, Florida. Ocean Breeze (700 sq feet) is located in a quiet neighborhood but is very close to everything you need. The beautiful white Gulf Coast white sandy beach is right across the street, and it is only a short walk to the world-famous John's Pass Village where you will find an abundant number of shops, water activities, restaurants, and local bars.

This is the perfect place to unwind after a day in the sun. Whether you are planning a family escape or a beach trip with friends, the cottage sleeps up to a maximum of 4 people and is perfect for an individual, one couple, or two couples or a small family. It is perfect for those remote jobs where you can spend the time both working and relaxing.

The courtyard is great for outside evening dinners watching the stars or stroll across the street to watch the beautiful sunset over the ocean on the beach every evening. There is a Weber grill to cook a nice meal and plenty of seating to relax. Beach equipment is available to use on those beach days. The cottage is on the ground level so there are no stairs to climb! The cottage is fully equipped with a full kitchen, but who wants to cook while you are on vacation. The cottage has a washer and dryer to use at no charge.

Each stay has a minimum of 4-night stay and is available for either a short or long-term vacation stay.

This is a smoke free cottage, and you must be a minimum of 25 years of age and a guest to book the cottage.

The cottage is completely fenced in and a SMALL pet (under 20 lb) is welcomed! There are pet bowls and blankets for you to use. Please select “pet” at the time of booking as a pet fee will apply at booking. The Bicentennial Beach Park is close by and there is some small neighborhood pet park close by for walking your dog anytime during the day. Please note that dogs are NOT allowed on the public beaches throughout Florida with the exception of several beaches throughout the state.

Should you want to have some additional family or friends to join you on your vacation and for them to have their own privacy, there is an additional one bedroom / one bath beach cottage (Bay Breeze) behind this cottage that sleeps 2 people and is available to rent (based on availability). Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start the first wash for the laundry with towels and bed sheets as that will help reduce the wash time and will be available for the next guests. Wash/dry all used pots/pans and dishware.
Please do a quick sweep of the cottage. Empty all garbage to the outside garbage cans. Take all garbage cans to the front of the house for pickup prior to of the house.
Check out is prior to 10:00 AM and your code will expire. Lock all doors and notify the owners of any damages so it can be repaired and addressed prior to the next guest's stays.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great Summer place at the beach

I highly recommend this cute cottage if you're looking for a place to stay close to the beach. It's clean and has everything you need for a beach vacation. Just a short walk across the street to Madiera beach. My husband and I plan on another vacation here again!

Loved the location and access to all the beach gear was greatly appreciated. Comfy beds. Clean house. There was toilet paper left by previous guest otherwise that would be the only negative of this rental.

Loved this little cottage!

We had a fabulous time visiting Madeira beach and staying at the Cozy Cottage! The house was stocked with all we could need and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. Easy, short walk to the beautiful beach and short walk to John's Pass too! The owner was so helpful when I had a question about the TV. Cottage was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!

Awesome, perfect location. 2 min walk to the beach, the house had a good selection of beach equipment also. 10 min walk to Johns Pass. The house is on the small side, was OK for 2 adults and 2 kids. Owners were quick to respond to questions and easy to work with. Would definitely visit again just for the location.

Charming little cottage, great location

Short walk to John's Pass. Nice little fenced in yard for the dog. Very comfortable place to stay. The host was very gracious and easy to deal with. (Please note that the local beaches are not dog friendly, but many bars and restaurants in the area are dog friendly. The nearest dog beach is De Soto Park).

Quaint Perfect Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location is perfect - right across from the beautiful Madeira Beach which is one of the best beach areas near Clearwater. Also, within walking distance to John's Pass which has a number of cute shops and good restaurants. The place was cozy, comfortable with a back yard that is great for relaxing and enjoying the shade while reading a good book or napping. We would definitely go back.

Lovely Get-away!

Looking forward to our next trip to Madeira Beach. We will definitely be coming back to this cottage. It had everything we needed and much more. The beds were very comfortable as was the entire cottage. We stayed in Cottage #1. With Cottage #2 being so close it’s the perfect setup for family vacations with multiple families. Now to try and coordinate three families and their vacations! Loved every minute of it.

Cozy Cottage

This cottage was perfect for me and my 2 teenage kids. The shed with the beach equipment made our beach days so easy and convenient! We did make a Walmart stop for some goggles and a few extras to leave for the next guests! Thank you so much for an easy hassle free stay, it could not have gone smoother! Will definitely be checking this out again on our next Florida vacation!

Loved The Cottage & Location

Adorable cottage easy walking distance to beach and many other amenities. Clean, comfortable, quite, safe and had everything available. Beds were very comfortable and back yard was nice size for our dogs. The pictures posted of exterior are not current as neither the front or the back yards are as tree filled or green spaced as shown, but still worked just fine for us. We never left our dogs alone in rear yard as the gates were not secure enough, just to let others know. We loved staying here and will absolutely come again!!!

Cute cottage

This cottage is so cute - it has a vintage feel. It’s not very big but it had everything we needed. I wouldn’t recommend it for more that 4 people. Everything you could want for the beach was provided; umbrellas, coolers, chairs, floaters and wagons to cart it all to the beach. The location is fantastic! A short two block walk to the beach. Cute neighborhood. The only minor complaint is that it smelled a bit like smoke, especially the beach towels for some reason. I will definitely book again if I return to Madiera Beach!.

It was a very nice little cottage and a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance To the beach and I mean, super close. The cottage, could Use a little updating but everything is there and it is nicely Labeled so you are able to find everything. John was awesome. We had an issue with my husband's dialysis machine. And he was very understanding and allowed us to check out a little late. We will be going back again. Oh, and no bugs! I did not have to worry about insect repellent at all. I honestly wish we could have stayed longer or bought the property LOL that's how much i loved it!

Christmas at the beach

We loved this place overall. Cute, spacious and centrally located. The bungalow could use some updating with kitchen supplies and newer furniture, but the beds were comfy. We were sorry that the weather didn’t allow us to avail of all the fun beach equipment supplied in the shed. Plenty of parking and the addition of the optional 1 bedroom bungalow add on made it perfect for our family.

1st retirement trip/remote work

Location, location, location. 2 blocks from the front door to the waters edge. 1 block off main drag (loud) and 1st St. is quiet. Love older, unique cottages and this one fit the bill. Picked the larger cottage because Lori worked part of the trip and it gave us plenty of room for everything. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The back patio, beach items, and the W/D were nice to have. Easy area to walk with plenty of eating, bars, and shopping within 1 mile. Lisa’s for brunch, Sweet Brewnet for coffee, & Dockside Dave’s for grouper. John was quick to respond before traveling, check in was simple, and we had no worries during our week stay. Would love to come back again. Beach was quiet, 1st St. was quiet, and John’s cottage was just right. Only problem was having to go back home to cold and snow.

Still a great place

This was our second stay at this property and still remains a "Highly Recommended". The cottage is very close to the beach and everything you need to cart it there is on hand, so makes for a great day long beach day or a quick walk to watch a spectacular sunset. The owner is a strong plus responding quickly to any questions and providing help resolving any issues. Example: Last trip we noted the bathroom had a foot style tub that was an attention getter, but could provide some difficulty for seniors to climb in and out. This trip we noted the owner response to correct the issue was to remove the tub and put in a walk in shower arrangement. Highly appreciated as I'm no spring chicken anymore. Only 1 item caused a slight dissappointment which was the removal of the shade trees in the front and rear of the home and the hammock to lay out in. For us (me) that was my favorite spot as it was cool and comforable in the shade and expanded the living area to the outside of the home. Still, if your not the beach goer, you still can spread out on the comfortable couch inside. I would definately recommend.
