Not yet ready

There was no way this unit was ready to be occupied. It was dirty, especially the bathroom. We were told there was a refrigerator and stove. It was a mini fridge and a hot plate. The pool had major issues. None of the linens matched. Just really tacky The owner spent more time with her dogs and boyfriend than dealing with the issues.

Owners over booked our room reservation

We arrived to check in and nobody was at the office. There was a note to call or text the phone number. I called and got no answer. Then I get a text saying”can I help you”. I told her I need to check in. I provided her my reservation # and she replied with I’m sorry we don’t have any rooms left for you. There we were 19hrs from home and no where to stay. We paid for this room 3 months ago! Then she texts me “I can’t refund your money I don’t have it, call Vrbo”. As we were texting back in forth a couple was coming down the stairs stating how dirty their room was and that they were going to look for a different place to stay. Very shady owners. Do not book with them!
