This location is just right if you are not looking for the life style of the rich and famous. It is a modest, two bedroom, two bathroom condo with plenty of room. While the view is a little obstructed, you are just steps away from sitting on the beach. The owner provides equipment for spending a day at the beach with chairs, umbrellas, toys, cooler and a wagon to haul it. The location is in a safe and quiet area yet close to Clearwater, St. Pete and Tampa. There are some great restaurants and bars only minutes away.If you are looking for an inexpensive getaway that is somewhat secluded but close to everything, this is your place.

I Give this Awesome place a 4.5. See why below

First of all...this place is fantastic! The beach is literally 30 steps away and the access is right out front. And the beach in this area is wonderful--wide with really very modest number of people. The neighbor hood is quiet, safe and relatively little traffic due to few restaurants immediately in that neighborhood. Never had an issue with theft or vagrants wandering around. The restaurants start about 1/4 mile up road so that was perfect. Tom the owner/mgr was always responsive...Great guy. responded right away with anything requested. Had beach gear available to use. Caught fish out on the beach--so fun! Convenient undertuck parkingHad a couple of maintenance issues with a toilet, but fixed and could use a deep cleaning and some slight upgrades/renovation to make it stellar. Kitchen was convenient-could use some newer pots--we like to cook in. Beds could be upgraded.Summary: Fantastic location and beach area with easy access to local towns. if you want a place thats quiet, great beach, great views, no hassle stay with owner close by, and dont care about perfect amenities, this place is perfect for the price paid. i would definitely stay again

3-Week stay in Feburary

My first impression when I walked in was "delightful!". The unit is spacious and bright and literally is just steps from the beach. We were very comfortable there. The deck is very nice, with a view of the Gulf. Biggest weakness is that the unit sits behind the owner's house so the view of the Gulf is partially obscured. Overall, we look forward to staying there again.

What an amazing trip! The condo fit our needs perfectly. We loved that it was just steps from the beach. We took advantage of the storage room w beach chairs, floaties and even a wagon to take it all to the beach. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location at the beach

This is our second stay at this property, and we enjoyed it very much. It was nice to be so close to the beautiful ocean, which is the main reason we chose it. The balcony has a partial sea view, and we ate most of our meals out there... loved the ocean sounds and sea breezes! There are restaurants and other businesses close by... it's a good location for sure.

Wonderful Girls Getaway

Tom's place was a great fit for our short trip to visit FL colleges! We enjoyed the condo and mostly the beautiful vistas and the calming waters of the Gulf coast!! What an amazing place to stay!!!

Trip cut short due to flight issues so glad to arrive at nice place with close parking and beach 50 steps away. The only negative is sounds from road get loud if sleeping in. But that’s what it takes to be beachside. Would definitely stay here again!

The home was perfect for our short stay. Had everything we needed (and more), convenient to where we wanted to go. Pros: Sunset from the balcony Steps from the beach Excellent communication with the host Tom Easy and convenient check in/check out Extra sleeping accommodations (futon/air mattress) Plenty of bedding, towels, pillows, etc. Lots of nice little extras in the kitchen and bathrooms (spices, tin foil, baggies, sugar, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, plenty of TP, etc.) Great view, spacious porch Quiet neighborhood Restaurant and mini mart within walking distance Clean Smart TV w/Spectrum cable in living room Beach towels and plenty of chairs etc downstairs Plenty of kitchen cook wear, plates, utensils, variety of cups, glassware etc. Keurig and Drip coffee makers Desks, extra chairs Plenty of books and some games Dogs welcome which was a HUGE plus because it’s hard to find, especially without any crazy or extra fees. Two gas grills downstairs Kayaks and water toys available for use Cons: Home is old and needs some TLC inside and out Furniture could use some cleaning (chair by futon specifically and the futon had a lot of dog hair left on it) Grills hadn’t been cleaned (chicken pieces dried on grates), lighter was rusted out, no gas in one of the grills Kitchen/bathrooms very outdated, cabinets/drawers coming/falling apart/have been rigged cheaply, shower heads could use a good CLR scrub No TV in bedrooms Old spring beds could be updated

A wonderful experience

Perfect location

The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from a beautiful beach. We enjoyed our time in Indian Shores. Tom was a great host and made sure we had a nice time. If the unit had some updating it would be truly spectacular, that would be my only constructive criticism.

The location is amazing and the condo is very quaint, warm, and welcoming. The place is very comfortable and everything in the condo worked well. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a great place by the beach. We stayed in condo A, and we heard all the walking above us. It did not bother us, but some people might prefer the top floor for that reason.
