Make yourself at home in this inviting one-bedroom vacation beach cottage in Madeira Beach, Florida. Bay Breeze (550 sq feet) is located in a quiet neighborhood but is very close to everything you need. The beautiful white Gulf Coast white sandy beach is right across the street, and it is only a short walk to the world-famous John's Pass Village where you will find an abundant number of shops, water activities, restaurants, and local bars.

This is the perfect place to unwind after a day in the sun. Whether you are planning a family escape or a beach trip with friends, the cottage sleeps up to a maximum of 4 people and is perfect for an individual, one couple, or two couples or a small family. It is perfect for those remote jobs where you can spend the time both working and relaxing.

There is outdoor space for outside evening dinners watching the stars or stroll across the street to watch the beautiful sunset over the ocean on the beach every evening. Beach equipment is available to use on those beach days. The cottage is on the ground level so there are no stairs to climb! The cottage is fully equipped with a full kitchen, but who wants to cook while you are on vacation. The cottage has a washer and dryer to use at no charge.

Each stay has a minimum of 4-night stay and is available for either a short or long-term vacation stay.

This is a smoke free cottage, and you must be a minimum of 25 years of age and a guest to book the cottage.

The cottage is completely fenced in, and a SMALL pet (under 40 lb) is welcomed! There are pet bowls and blankets for you to use
. Please select “pet” at the time of booking as a pet fee will apply at booking. The Bicentennial Beach Park is close by and there is some small neighborhood pet park close by for walking your dog anytime during the day. Please note that dogs are NOT allowed on the public beaches throughout Florida with the exception of several beaches throughout the state.

Should you want to have some additional family or friends to join you on your vacation and for them to have their own privacy, there is an additional two bedroom / one bath beach cottage (Ocean Breeze) in the front of the property that sleeps 4 people and is available to rent (based on availability). Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start the first wash for the laundry with towels and bed sheets as that will help reduce the wash time and will be available for the next guests. Wash/dry all used pots/pans and dishware.
Please do a quick sweep of the cottage. Empty all garbage to the outside garbage cans. Take all garbage cans to the front of the house for pickup prior to of the house.
Check out is prior to 10:00 AM and your code will expire. Lock all doors and notify the owners of any damages so it can be repaired and addressed prior to the next guest's stays.

Perfect beach getaway

We had a great experience at the Blue cottage! So close to the beach and a very quick little walk to Johns Pass. John and Donna were very easy to work with and very responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect little getaway close to the beach

We had a lovely stay at John’s place! The one bed one bath was perfect for my partner and I with our two dogs. The fenced in yard and privacy fence were so nice to have along with an outdoor shed full of beach gear. The location is super close to the beach and many bars and restaurants on the main strip. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

Charming and Cozy.

Lovely, well-maintained property and close to everything. The owner is very easy to communicate with and check in was easy. The mattress is new and comfortable. The bathroom towels were plush and soft. The kitchen has everything necessary although many restaurants are nearby. Probably the best part is that the cottage and the owners are pet friendly. Highly recommended.

Great pet friendly cottage near the beach

Really wonderful pet friendly cottage with plenty of space. Cottage has all the modern day conveniences and necessities. My dog loved the yard and evening walks in the neighborhood. Nothing beat the bay front pet friendly lots located at the end of every block. Cottage is also located a short walk from the beach entry which was great for my wife and I. Beach was awesome, not too many people and wonderful water. Bedroom was a great size as was the bathroom with the exception of the shower being a bit tight. Also located very close to shops and restaurants.

Cute Little Cottage

I reserved this cottage because I was traveling with my two Golden Retrievers and it advertised in the listed that it has a private fenced area. The real deal is that the property has a privacy around it and the fence dividing the two cottages on the property is a three foot vinyl picket fence. Also if the other cottage is being rented and they also are traveling with dogs you need to keep your dogs on a leash at all times. In my eyes this defeats the whole purpose of renting a place with a private fenced area. The grass area in the yard is about 7 x 7. This didn't work for my larger dogs so I ended up walking them for every bathroom break anyway. I loved that this cottage had it's own entry onto the property with an automatic gate opener that came with a remote control. It also has an outdoor shower which is perfect for when you come home from the beach. There is a significant slop to the floor in the kitchen. I'm surprised this isn't a safety issue for renters. Also, a lot of bulbs were burnt out and not replaced. When I messaged the owner, his response was that he was not aware that any bulbs were burnt out. I guess that type of maintenance is not being routinely checked. ? Also! The coffee maker is a Keurig so bring K Cups or your own coffee maker if you bring your own beans. I had to go to Walmart at 9 p.m. to find a coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable! And the cottage was clean when I arrived. Thank you!

Beyond expectations

My husband and I drove from NYC with our dog. We were somewhat anxious as it was our first time using Vrbo. John answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. We arrived later than expected, tired and stressed from the long drive. We were very happy to enter this beautiful, clean, cozy cottage with all the amenities of home....and then some. We especially loved the privacy of the fenced in outdoor area and the parking accommodations. Throughout our stay, John continued to answered all questions almost immediately. I HIGHLY recommend.

Cuteness overload

What a cute place! The cottage was amazing. Well decorated and furnished. You can walk a block to the beach, there's a Cafe right outside the gate for brunch, and minutes from a number of restaurants. The cottage was welcoming, with things clearly labeled and outlined. We were left for wanting nothing. The bedroom and bathroom were surprisingly spacious and comfortable. And multiple amenities to help with your stay. Iron, fans, beach supplies, washer/dryer... we truly enjoyed it.

This is very nice property. It was well stocked with everything needed to enjoy the stay. 10 minute walk to the beach and not very crowded this time of year, early May. I would recommend staying here if you like privacy.

Cute Cottage by Beach

John was very helpful at check in! This cute cottage is behind another cottage but there is a gate in the back which you can park your car in which is super convenient. Great location just a block from the beach! A tad small but very cozy and clean at a good price.

We loved our stay at the Madiera Beach Cottage

This little cottage was well stocked for a comfortable stay. It was great to have a fenced in back yard for our two small dogs. The location was within walking distance to the beach and St Johns Pass. Great walking neighborhood.

Madiera Beach cottage

First time at Madiera Beach. The beach was very nice and we enjoyed going to John’s Pass in the evenings. We also made short trips to Treasure Island and St. Pete’s beach. This cottage was a great location and perfect for 2 people.

Walking distance to everything!

The host was great and answered all of my questions within a timely manner. The listing pics show a hammock, but one was not available. Other than that, the property was spotless and had all the amenities. Beach is a 3 minute walk and John's pass is a 7 minute walk. As someone who likes new experiences, I try not to visit the same place twice. But this place was great and I hope to come back! Thanks for hosting us!!

Wonderful

We had a great stay at this sweet little cottage. Just big enough for the two of us. Electronic locks were awesome as we didn’t have to carry keys around with us. The one time we had a lock issue, a quick call to the owner corrected the problem immediately. Comfortable and cozy and within walking distance from the beach and Johns Pass. We enjoyed a little place down the road - The Bamboo Beach Bar for drinks, snacks and live music. Great location and price.

Cozy, Immaculate, and Comfortable

The service provided by John Phan is just exceptional. He responded quickly; gave perfect directions to the property; and exact instructions for the operation of everything from the remote gate to the parking spot to the operation of the heating/cooling system in the unit. Will definitely stay there again when my travels take me to the Clearwater/St. Pete area.
