Comfy and cute

This is an amazing old building. They managed to modernize without getting rid of the charm, including original floors. The room was large, but cozy. Instead of your typical hotel room, the decor and finishes really make it feel homey. The staff was great. We let them know we would be checking in quite late, and even though they didn't have an overnight desk person scheduled, the guy at the desk stayed until we got there at 2 a.m. The attached Mexican restaurant was delicious. We were starting here to go to a race in Bristol, but I would take this over the closer hotels any time.

I wish I could find a hotel like Western Front every time I travel. This qwerky small town spot keeps pace with the big chain competition and was money well spent. From the friendly service to the Virginia scenery, 10/10

Great property. This was our 2nd time staying at the Wester Front in Saint Paul. It is by far the best hotel in the area. The hotel is beautifully done, the staff is very friendly and the little touches (breakfast bucket, coffee area in the lobby, the 2 rooftop areas and outdoor area) add so much to the experience.

Quaint, yet fancy! Gorgeous room with outstanding amenities! In-house restaurant was top notch. Game room was fun. Outdoor seating areas were inviting and calming in the evening and morning! Historical recount books w/pics in lobby/sitting area was relaxing and quite interesting! Staff was kind & helpful. Absolutely will return for another chill mini retreat!

This hotel is not a national chain. It is so unique and I found it by accident. Each room is decorated in a western theme. They are located next to the Appalachian Trial and in the mountains of Virginia. Beautiful. Each time I travel to this area I always stay at the Western!

We were on a week-long road trip, and this was the best hotel along the way. Much better than the other hotels we've been staying at. Breakfast could be better, though.

I really enjoyed the building, the area and the room. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent and there were several others within walking distance. The room was nice, clean and had plenty of room. The "backyard" area was also nice. The floors creaked in the hallway, which I loved and added to the authenticity of the building.
