Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful! Pool was clean and pleasant temperature, with a bathroom within the pool room, but some of the “clean” pool towels were dirty. Nice area outside to walk dogs, but poop bags were not provided (which is possibly why some guests didn’t clean up after their dogs and we stepped in a fresh pile). Breakfast was lacking options that don’t contain sugar, ultra-processed food, or pork. The room was clean and smelled good; however, the ceiling over the shower was drop-down which is not moisture-proof, so that made me feel concerned about mold (room 117). All throughout the hotel I noticed that rust was being painted over, or little “bandaids” here and there to improve the visual appearance. I never saw a business center, so I’m not sure that the listing photos are accurate. I would stay here again, but bring my own breakfast.

The staff was exceptional The only thing that wasnt great was that there isnt an elevator and were were put on the 2nd floor .. my aunt doesnt do steps well and it was difficult to get her up amd down the stairs ..

I would give this property more stars if they actually had all the amenities that were listed. It wasn’t a make or break situation though. The breakfast was good and the building was really clean! We were able to check in earlier than it stated which was a big plus! Overall the staff and our stay was great! Whenever we come back, we would definitely stay here again!

Where's the Quality?

Every staff member I interacted with was very nice and helpful. However, one of the lamp shades in the room had what looked like dried blood on it, the chair had mysterious stains, the baseboards in the bathroom were not finished, there were multiple dead bugs on the floor and walls (specifically, a beetle, a spider, and a moth - no roaches), the walls had patches of paint missing,the bathroom wall above the shower had a crack/small hole from water damage, the bathroom light was on the fritz, and the iron had burnt polyester on it (we did get a replacement iron thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff, but I feel like it should have been checked and switched when the room was flipped). And unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the damage because we noticed it and tried to ignore it as much as possible since we only stayed one night. there were some other things that bothered me but they were personal preferences and not objectively bad.

Roadtrip pitstop

I've stayed here before. The room was stuffy but after 20 minutes of ac cooling it down it was fine. Hotel was quiet,clean and the people were nice. Bed n pillows were also good. Breakfast ok but they had waffles!! Plenty of food nearby.

It's a motel along the highway...you know it's not the Ritz. But this small property is maintained very well. It's clean and the area around the hotel is mowed and kept tidy. The staff and manager are excellent. I was staying there while at a dog show so had my Dalmatian with me. Upon check-in, they made sure I had a room near an exterior door for easy outside access. They were always kind and responsive. Another guest hit my car in the parking lot (elderly gentleman) and did not try to contact me. Management went above and beyond to review camera footage to find "whodunit." The security cameras are excellent and we did identify the other guest. The manager also stayed with me in the parking lot when I approached the other guest for insurance information. This may be a small, simply motel, but they sure understand customer service.
