First off, parking was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive…if you accepted what the front desk offered. Walk a block or two and the price was half that of the hotel. Otherwise, pleasant lobby, nice fast elevator, and, most importantly, very dog friendly. The room—we, of course, had been ‘elevated’ to a deluxe ‘king’ (i.e., the odd room at the end of the hall, that refused to layout the way others did—was adequate at best. The heating system malfunctioned and the room stayed at a toasty 80º. Good water and hot water. Excellent calzone restaurant right outside the door (and I don’t think much of calzones generally). Wacky guests, of course. It was difficult to take Elsie, our GSD, ‘out’ when necessary from the 17th floor, though eventually she loved riding the elevator and learned to press the call button in no time.

The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very clean. Bathroom was small. Heat and air conditioning did not work. Room stayed at 81 degrees all night. No free parking. Valet only at $55/day. They had Christmas decorations still up but were in the process of taking them down. The decorations were gorgeous!!!
