Family above me were too loud

I came in to stay at the St Peters Missouri Holiday inn express. The room itself was pleasant, the breakfast was exceptional however, my room was on the first floor and the people above me stayed up past 2:00 a.m. making noise and I was unable to sleep. I had driven 4 and 1/2 hours to arrive for a family funeral service and needed rest before I had to take the four and a half hour drive back home. Needless to say I got no sleep, which made for a late departure home and an unsafe journey due to lack of sleep. My advice to hotels are to have a quiet hours posted so guests can receive a healthy nights rest.

The breakfast was your basic continental breakfast with eggs sausage bacon pastry’s bagels. The staff was very helpful especially Kelly at the front desk, she helped me with my IHG membership and how to earn extra points.

This hotel was super clean! Had nice size bathrooms. Was modern. Had Dove full size shampoo conditioner and soap in rooms and liquid hand soap too! The breakfast was awesome with lots of great hot items including turkey sausage and omelets! The manager walked around each morning greeting customers at breakfast and checking in. She took plates people finished off the table like in a restaurant to get them out of the way! She was friendly positive and kind. The other staff were friendly and warm.
