We were very pleased to be upgraded for free upon our arrival. The room was very large with a lodge-type/cabin feel, which, while not our style, was fine except room was very dark because of decor and lighting in the room was limited. There was a fireplace in the living area, which was nice. Front desk said it was operable but unfortunately it was not. It was very cold and windy the night we checked in. We actually thought one of the windows was open but when we went to close it we found it was closed and just very drafty. Area around the in-wall heaters were also very drafty. Hotel room needed some TLC. Breakfast was good and staff at front desk were amazing.

As soon as we entered the lobby we were greeted by Whitney who was super friendly. Our keys were ready. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We were on the 3rd floor. The hotel had such a friendly, welcoming vibe. We will stay there again the next time we visit St. Joe.

We stayed two nights Saturday and Sunday and by 12pm Sunday the pool and hot tub were no longer heated. And with the pool being an outdoor and indoor all in one, and the weather is temp outside was under 45 degrees. It made the pool unbearable to swim and the hot tub was cooler than a baby’s bath water.
