"Kids and I had a great time. The resort was perfect for what we wanted; close proximity to Cruz Bay for walks into town for dinner, shopping, etc, but also easy to take a quick excursion in the rental car (rental place on-site) and, although the lot was often crowded, the resort provided the option to double-park and leave the keys with the front desk for them to move later, which was nice. The only small nitpicks for the week were that little things like pool noodles should probably be included, considering the amount you're paying for the resort, rather than have a rental fee associated with them. Another small nitpick is that we did try to grill out for a few dinners. Obviously it was not an often-used part of the resort, as it was teeming with chickens and stray cats, and a pretty dirty screen porch with lots of turned-over patio chairs. All that said, every other part of the resort was super clean and well-kept, and the pool and diving dock (great snorkeling!) were great too. I do want to make special mention of two staff members who were so sweet and kind to me and my kids: Sheena and Marsha, who both went above and beyond helping my 14-year old daughter with a bad sunburn. Marsha helped us find some natural aloe, which helped a lot, and Sheena also went above and beyond trying to help us care for the burn without breaking the bank, and providing a little something for us to remember the trip. Thanks so much! We hope to be back someday!"

"The hotel was simple and clean and the complimentary beach chairs and snorkeling were so thoughtful and perfect for our beach trips. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The one thing is that there are a lot of roosters roaming around the property and we got woken up at 5am every morning; otherwise the stay was great."

"I stayed here for a week. I never once saw anyone that I was certain worked directly for the property. The office was closed at all times. I had to get the WiFi password from the restaurant staff. Before I arrived, I got a text that said my cabin would be left unlocked. Before I left, I got a text telling me to leave the cabin unlocked. I honestly have no idea if anyone knew I was there. The shower is a garden hose. Literally. One night it rained. Hard. I ran out of bowls, and had to change beds because it was dripping on my face. I would have complained, but TO WHO? Gains one star for the amazing view."
