Lighthouse Cove

We had a great stay at Lighthouse Cove. We spent most of our time on the back deck (covered) and the backyard and dock. It was a short walk to the public beach access. It fully met our expectations.

The property is close to beach walking distance about a block, half a mile from the pier and general store. Comfortable nook We felt safe even left car unlocked nothing was touched ,Queen bed was firm king bed was ok definitely different. Carpet was stained but didnt smell was fairly clean no bugs anywhere was a plus. The underneath of house where things where stored could have been more clean and organized. Kitchen fully equipped only thing i didnt see was a airfryer And crockpot or a mixer but had everything else lots of dishes from ceramic to plastic. Bathroom where big and lots of towels and wash clothes. Only one trash bag for 5 days . I usually take my own trash bags, paper towels and toliet paper anyways . Nice commercial washer and dryer. I took my own detergent. Overall Comfortable place nothing fancy or brand new but served its purpose.

Nice area and neighborhood. The house is in need of repairs due to water damage that is evident. Walls with damage was painted over. We were unable to close the storm door because the digital lock on the wood door kept the storm door from latching. When the wind blows the storm door bangs against the porch. The front porch was not stable and wobbles when you climb the steps.

A beautiful summer vacation

The dock was everything I had imagined it would be. The tandem kayaks stayed parked there when we were not paddling around and the teenagers enjoyed fishing from the dock every single day. The beach is a short walk, the two outside showers were a blessing. We loved the picnic table on the deck, we ate lunches and dinners there. The house has games and books, we had brought our own but also checked out Clue once. We loved the garage to keep the bikes, helmets, paddles and vests safe and dry. It's a beautiful place.

GREAT HOUSE

Neighbor hood was nice, Short walk to beach which was not crowded. Clean house, has a dock for boat and table and chairs for a nice day on the dock. Not many steps up the living quarters. This is what a beach house is to be like!!!!! Enjoyed Big kitchen and table for family to enjoy dinning!!!
