The location of this beach house was great, but the overall condition left much to be desired. The home shows noticeable signs of age, which likely contributes to some of the issues encountered. There was a persistent musty smell throughout, and the upstairs bathroom had an unpleasant odor. While the downstairs had cold air, it remained very humid, affecting overall comfort.Additionally, the listing photos do not fully reflect the home's current state. One notable example is the gaming table, which appears much larger in the pictures than it actually is.I appreciated the host reaching out on the day of check-in to ask about cleanliness, but after reporting a low rating, I was asked if I’d be open to a phone call to discuss the issues. Unfortunately, that call never came, leaving these concerns unaddressed.With proper maintenance and more accurate listing details, this rental could offer a much better experience. As it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it without improvements.

Cute, Comfy Property

This property was an adorable house that comfortably housed 4 adult guests. It was perfect for our needs. I especially loved the screened-in porch and the sitting area down the dock. Would love to stay here again!

Needs upgrades and repairs

The beds slept horrible. The tile in front of the bottom unit shower was broken In several places. The pillows were old and flat and the downstairs unit smelled of mold or it had been wet at some time. Comforters on the beds need replacing. The furniture is very dated. The location and closeness to the beach was excellent. The house was clean. Really need to invest in good mattresses.

We had stayed her about 10 years ago. We decided to stay again because we like it and the price is great! I have 2 young adults and 1 elementary school age daughters. The older love staying downstairs!!! We would love to stay a 3rd time!!!

Needs major updating but beautiful view

First, the view and beach access were fabulous. Kitchen was decently stocked, shower pressure was good, and it was roomy enough for our family of 4 adults. Nice surprise was the extra half bath off the kitchen. The place needs a ton of updates and repairs. It was "clean" but if stained grout, buckling (water damaged) wood, worn upholstery, or torn screens in the screen porch bother you, this isn't your place. We can do "old" so it was ok. What was not Ok were the horribly uncomfortable beds, especially the queen in the ocean front bedroom. I would not stay here again unless they replaced the mattresses. They were that bad. Note: Downstairs "apartment" has no interior connection to main floor. That wasn't an issue for us as our kids are older.

Location, location, location!

I LOVED this place! Being able to walk out to the beach at any moment was magical. Was hoping to catch some sea turtles hatching but the nest wasn’t ready. Can’t wait to come back next year!
