6 Barnaloft is a beachfront property with stunning uninterrupted sea views over Porthmeor beach, the home of Tate St Ives, local surfing and of course glorious sunsets....
The property was completely refurbished, finishing in 2019. A top to bottom remodel with a clever design and nautical inspiration without the cliche coastal blues.
This is all about the 'beach life', there's even a wetroom for washing off the sand with powerful hot showers.
A parking space is a 5-10 minute walk away.
6 Barnaloft is a luxury beach pad with natural wood flooring, carefully chosen decor, materials and furnishings offering a high end feel.
The clever design has maximised the space for up to four guests.
The living area is completely open plan with dining and a well equipped high end kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a dining table for four and a living space with a really comfortable sofa and completely uninterrupted sea and beach views of Porthmeor - the sunsets are truly stunning! The balcony is here and depending where the sand is it can be an easy hop to the beach (or there is an access door for all apartments about a 20 second walk from your front door).
On the ground floor there is also a wetroom with shower, toilet, basin and the perfect place to wash off sand.
Upstairs there is a clever curved landing, you'll find a washer/dryer here to.
The master bedroom has superb uninterrupted sea views, a superking bed with white linen, built in storage and a pop up desk in case you have to tend to any business. The ensuite shower room features designer tiles and a powerful shower.
The twin room can be made as a superking, it also features built in storage and an ensuite bathroom with Jack and Jill access.
Please note the car parking space is located a 5-10 minute walk away on Beach Road.
All of it besides the odd cupboard which is locked.
We live locally and know the area really well. We're here to make sure you have a great time, whether it's surf tips from Sam or places to eat with Ashleigh, your welcome to ask us for help and advice.
We use a self service check-in to give you flexibility when arriving, we might swing by to check everything is ok during your stay but we like to respect your privacy to.
St Ives is a really special town. With a mixed history, it's an ancient fishing port that has developed into an artistic escape for many and is now one of the UK's best know holiday towns.
You'll find golden sand beaches with crystal clear waters, surfers love Porthmeor and there are at least 3 other beaches in a 15-20 minute walk from your front door.
Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Museum and Gardens are well worth a wander, both are in walking distance to.
The food scene is excellent and you can expect more than just standard grub. From family friendly to the likes of Porthminster Beach Cafe which serve excellent food in a laid back beach side environment.
6 Barnaloft is near to St Ives train and bus stations (10-15 minute walks). We find many of our guests don't use their car during their stay as St Ives has lots to do, if this might be you, do consider the train.
Everything in town is in walking distance.
There are some good local bus routes and we highly recommend exploring the renowned South West Coast Path.
Please don't feed the seagulls!
