Seagreen Cottage: Gorgeous Custom Home with Sunset Bay View & Bunk Room!

Bring your family to relax on St. George Island at our beautiful & thoughtfully designed 3-bedroom beach cottage with tower loft. Custom-built by us in 2023, this one-of-a-kind property boasts juniper woodwork, main level master bedroom with on-suite bathroom, guest room with queen bed, bunk room featuring built-in bunks (2 twin & 2 full), and a unique nature-inspired tower loft (The Nest) with additional full bed and stunning panoramic views of Apalachicola Bay.

Located on a quiet street leading to the bay, you’ll have a front row seat for our stunning island sunsets. Every evening, residents & visitors from the surrounding homes make their way down to the end of the street for an impromptu sunset viewing party. We have the best sunset location on the island! At any time of day, a short walk down to the bayshore will allow your family to explore the shoreline, find hermit crabs, fish, or use the kayak launch. Load up the beach gear and take a quick 2-minute golf cart ride to the Gulf side of the island, where you’ll find perfect white sand beaches with beach entrances and parking every block. But going for a scenic walk or bike ride to the beach is even better! The short walk to the beach is about 7 minutes. You can also get your steps in by taking a scenic walk along the quiet bay side streets and over to the beach. Cruising the streets by golf cart is also a favorite activity. Your family will love to visit the island center and grab famous Weber's donuts (get in line early!), play Pickle Ball, climb the Lighthouse, play on the new playground, enjoy ice cream, dine along the beach at Blue Parrot, or shop for souvenirs. There is plenty of vehicle parking at the island center, but taking Gorrie Drive by golf cart and riding along the beach is the best!

Just across the bridge in Eastpoint, you can visit the ANERR Estuary Visitor's Center to see fish tanks with local wildlife, walk boardwalk trails, and learn all about natural Florida. Downtown Apalachicola is just a 15-minute drive from the house, where you could spend an entire day shopping and then dine at unique local restaurants. Driving a little further east along the beautiful coast will take you to Carrabelle and Panacea for some fun outings, including our favorite place - Gulf Specimen Marine Aquarium (hold starfish and other ocean life in the touch tanks!).

The fully-stocked kitchen, gas grill, indoor and outdoor dining areas, 2.5 bathrooms plus private outdoor shower, televisions, games, books, fresh linens, laundry room, and Wi-Fi will make you feel right at home. We also have parking for up to 5 vehicles and a privacy-fenced back yard with covered patio, picnic table, counter with barstools, and Solo Stove fire pit. Basic beach gear is also available. Local rental companies will deliver bikes, kayaks, and other items to the house. This is also our family's favorite place to relax and recharge, so we took great care in making sure everything a family could need is right here.
