Avoid- You may pay more than the contract rate!

DISHONEST! I booked it through Hotels.com for $301.19 to pay at the property. Motel 6 charged me $319.41 and won't refund the $18.22 they overcharged. Hotels.com has even tried to call them directly, and they still refuse to refund. We were there in March when it was hot, and they weren't running the A/C.

Stay away atrocious

When we opened the door, the floor was extremely dirty. The air conditioner was dripping all over the floor hair in the shower very moldy smell bed had springs sticking through it and they refuse to fix it.

Terrible and dirty rooms

It was midnight by time we checked in. So with that being said the room smelled like cat pee. There was blood on the bathroom floor and one of the beds had what looked like boogers or mouse poop on the sheet. There was this yellow substance running down the walls

Housekeeper knocks on your door to check if vacant

Housekeeper will knock on the door at 9am until you open it just to check whether the room is vacant or not. White towels look all yellowish. The worst, they will ask to leave tip for the service at the end

The Bathroom locks from the Outside

I stayed one night and didn’t feel very comfortable. The room felt quite bare and a little unsettling, especially with a lock on the bathroom door from the outside. I also heard people walking around the hotel late at night, which made it hard to relax. I was glad to have my dogs with me for company, but overall I didn’t feel at ease and probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The bedspread was dirty the floor was dirty and so was the door and the base boards. I also did not feel safe there the cleanest room was the bathroom. Im still waiting for my deposit back I checked after 2 hours of being there no one said sorry or talked to me about it in fact the manager was to busy to bother. Im very upset .

What I booked, vs what I received was subpar. I realize that the motel has a disclaimer that special requests are first come, first serve. I booked a smoking room with two beds. I received an unclean room with 1 bed. The front desk staff were great though and no complaints about a new trainee and he called an older staff member to help him. If the motel did not have availability for what I booked, they should not have it posted as available and they should have reached out to me by text or email before my stay. I have been a multiple repeat customer at this property. I understand this is a budget motel. They should just update their true availability on websites so customers get what they book/pay for and have no surprises at check in. Again, staff tried their hardest to make things right but it was out of their control. Staff were professional. This is a problem at management/owner level. I will not be staying at this property in the future. They have lost my business in the future. I visit this area 8-10 times per year. I will be booking elsewhere in future stays.
