We chose this property specifically for the pool and hot tub amenities during our Thursday-to-Sunday stay.Upon arrival, there were no posted house rules or instructions for property equipment, including the pool and hot tub. Prior to check-out, we washed towels and sheets, emptied all trash, and cleaned and put away the dishes.Our experience with the amenities and host communication was disappointing:Pool: The pool water was uncomfortably cold and unusable throughout our stay due to the water and ambient temperatures.Hot Tub Issues: On Friday morning, the hot tub was mostly empty. My husband contacted the host, who instructed him to download an app to control the temperature, but provided no further instructions. The tub filled and worked that evening, but by Saturday, it was completely empty again.Host Communication: My husband reached out to the host twice on Saturday regarding the empty hot tub, but received no response. As a result, the hot tub remained unusable for the entire day. It was full again on Sunday morning just as we were checking out, so we were unable to use it.After our stay, the host falsely claimed to VRBO that we had broken the hot tub, which we did not do. We have submitted photographic evidence of the hot tub's condition directly to VRBO customer support.Due to the unreliability of the primary amenities and the lack of responsive communication, we would not recommend this property.
