The couple who run the place are the nicest people and went out of their way to be accommodating. The place is a little run down and in the middle of a big renovation.

Great location with access near Utah state parks. Room was cheap and clean, staff is very friendly. However, the breakfast was lacking -- we went down late and there was only bread and tea left. Lots of things to do in the area. Great for travel or just an overnight rest stop.

This hotel advertises a 24 hr front desk, however this is not true. I called to let them know my arrival time was going to be later than anticipated and they stated there would be no one working to check me in. They offered to cancel my reservation instead which I accepted. They still charged my card and when I called to request a refund the same person that offered to cancel stated that I did not cancel and was a no show, therefore subject to the no show fee (full cost of the room). It seems to be just one person working the desk and he is very rude and condescending. I believe I was purposely misled so that they could still charge me for the room. I recommend the Rodeway down the street, they are very nice with more amenities.

Not the worst…

The Econolodge…we just needed a quick hotel for two nights, wanted a pool and a cheap room to sleep. The rooms are dated, there are dead bugs in the lights, and our room smelled AWFUL. We never touched the pool. Not their fault, but road construction made it a mess to access the property. I did appreciate that the owner of the property called me twice to check on the status of our arrival. I think he wanted to go to bed. lol. The couple was very kind and welcoming. It’s a cheap hotel, don’t expect much.

A great night’s sleep and a wonderful breakfast

The man at the counter while checking in was so very nice and polite. He made me feel comfortable about the establishment. I would say there again in a minute. His wife was at breakfast and she was as nice as her husband. Breakfast was great. All the guest were talking to each other and it kind of felt like a family. I would definitely stay there again. I will also let my friends and family know about this hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at the Econo Lodge Hurricane Zion Park Area. The location is perfect—just a short drive to Zion National Park, making it a great base for exploring the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essentials you need after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with directions and local recommendations. The free breakfast was a nice bonus, with plenty of options to start the day off right. I also appreciated the convenience of on-site parking and the overall quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the property. If you’re looking for affordable, reliable, and comfortable accommodations near Zion, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area.
