Overall the property wasn’t bad, along with the rooms. However, they advertised the pool and hot tub, but upon time of checking, there was a message, at the front desk, stating the hot tub was down. It would have been nice being notified of this before hand because it would have provided opportunity to prep the kids; if you are a parent I am sure you will understand.
An odd thing I had experienced, not the hotels handling, but Uber drivers will not pickup there, however, Lyft will.
Also, there was very minimal staff presence at the front desk. While the app used is great for getting setup, human interaction for questions of the property and area can be beneficial.
After checkin, we also had a maid walk in our room after arrival, and when doing check in, we had notified no service is needed during our stay. The root of the issue is, the maid should have knocked prior to entry. She was very apologetic though.
Lastly, when having continental breakfast, they only had one staff and they did not speak English. Tried explaining they were out of food and out of coffee cups, but she could not comprehend, until enough people came up and started notifying her, which while she couldn’t understand, she finally started reviewing the product needed and was able to fill both. I personally will not be continuing to use this hotel in the future, I do hope they improve based on feedback provided.
