Smoke detector was covered by a plastic bag violating state law. Breakfast was very poor. Eggs were watery and cold, sausage links were cold. Coffee was cold. Went to nearby convenience store for breakfast.

Be careful of the address. There are two AmericInn in Saint Cloud. The address on my confirmation took me to the wrong facility. Our rooms were in the other motel about 5 miles away. Not a great surprise to get after you’ve driven 12 hours.

I booked a jacuzzi suite, then got a call the day of my stay saying they double booked and I got booted out. When I got to the hotel the pool and hot tub were closed as well. VERY unhappy with Americinn! I will NOT use this hotel ever again

A little pricey for the same breakfast every morning but other than that it was an okay place to stay. The pool isnt open and there was hair in the bathroom but again it was an okay stay.

It was ok. The room was clean but doesn’t look nice with the sloppy paint marks on the doors from the walls being painted. The bathtub drain didn’t drain properly when the shower was in use and took a while to drain out.

This is a very basic motel. It was mediocre in terms of cleanliness and overall ambience. The front desk woman was very nice. The refrigerator had an high-pitched squealing noise so we had to unplug it and then all of the bedside lamps and outlets stopped working while we were there. The alternate entrance door had to be pulled tight to close and lock. Highway noise is notable.

Stayed there for three nights on a business trip. Hard to get to as the roads were closed off. When I checked into my non-smoking room it reeked of cigarettes. Called front desk to tell them so they wouldn’t charge me for the smell and they came up and sprayed deodorizer. Night desk person was nice. Carpet was in bad shape. The hot tub in the room has cigarette burn marks on the side of it. (I was too afraid to use that.) The second night gave me two individuals yelling and arguing with each other just below my window until around 11:30 pm. They kept hitting their lock on their key fob making their car honk over and over again. The front desk day guy could barely speak English and I had a very hard time trying to tell him about the incidents with the smoking smell and the people yelling the night before. I’ll probably find another place to stay next time I’m in town.

Very disappointing

Booked for moving child into college for Freshman year. Double checked on pool and hot tub before booking. Went to check in and sign says neither were in service. I also have an autistic child so pool was needed. Front desk did not even try to explain, just processed the payments and handed keys over. When I asked how long the pool area had been out of service I was told 4 weeks. I had booked within that 4 weeks and nobody said a word. Checked the website the day we were checking in and it still showed pool and hot tub operational. Manager not on duty at check in time of 3pm. Will never go back and have tarnished the entire name for me.

Ok overnight stay

Our stay was just ok. We were looking for a clean place to sleep with a pool and breakfast. Upon check in we were told the pool was closed for a few days. This was a bummer. The room was dated but clean. The air conditioner was very noisy which made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Shower was great. Overall we had a decent stay, we just were annoyed with the pool situation and no prior notice about it.

The parking and outside appearance of the AmericaInn was good. The motel facilities were out-of-date, the staff was minimal, the service was poor. The room had many problems: outlets did not work, window could not be opened (sign that said window would fall out), towels were ragged. One young lady did all the work (desk, room cleaning, breakfast service), the manager did nothing to assist. Your service would not let me cancel.
