Our room was the biggest issue. The room we stayed in (Rm 1) is directly above the foyer and EVERY time someone would enter or exit the building the door would SLAM shut and we would hear it very LOUDLY. This was true even in the middle of the night. Also, the bathroom in Rm 1 was simply too small. You could barely turn around in the shower and there was no room to put any of our toiletries in the bathroom or hang the towels.

If you stay in St Augustine you should stay here!! Wonderful staff, clean cozy room, coffee and cookies first rate, and breakfast is not the usual fare. Walking distance to everything!

We had a great stay. Our room was beautiful. Clean. Check in was a little confusing to a traveler who didn’t know where things were, & St Augustine has a bunch of one way streets & the streets are narrow. Our check in was across the street. Parking was 3 blocks away. The breakfast was wonderful. Again the place was beautiful ! My only complaint was the bed was hard and we had hard time working the TV remote.

Not handicap friendly… stairs & no handicap parking. Need a golf cart shuttle to get your car in their lot which was much too far away to walk (20 minutes)for elderly patrons . Coffee service needs REAL 1/2 & 1/2 not little coffeemate cups of imitation chemicals. Rooms as shown in website are very small in reality. Breakfasts were outstanding.

Perfect for couples

We had a wonderful stay at Victorian House! The room and bathroom as well as the sitting area in our bedroom were pristine, bright and tastefully decorated. The staff was very courteous , helpful and went out of their way to make our trip super pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and very elegantly presented. The homemade cookies that were available throughout the day were absolutely decadent! It was fun to meet and chat with other guests while nibbling on simple but delicious appetizers and enjoying a glass of wine or two, …during happy hour. The location is perfect-walking distance to shops, restaurants, historical sites, … It was a special treat to stop by the kitchen to get a cool drink before going back to our fresh room. If we go back to St Augustine, we’ll definitely stay at Victorian House!

We love the location of this house, as it was very easy to get to any part of St. Augustine. We loved the extra perks provided, like having water bottles available to us, as well as fresh cookies every day.
