This is a well appointed, and lovingly maintained Bed and Breakfast located in an ideal location for walking St. Augustine. Updated bathrooms and balconies/patios are a few of the amenities to be appreciated. The staff is charming and diligent in ensuring you are enjoying your stay; and regularly inquire if something is needed/amiss, or . perhaps a question needs to be answered. Bed and breakfast was clean, friendly staff and conveniently located. However, the essence of a bed and breakfast is its breakfast. This one took a long time to come out, seemed overly complicated and ridiculously small portions. Coffee was terrible. Breakfast should be comforting and delicious. Having a couple of options would be appreciated. They are open to accommodate children but the standard menu, for sure is not kid friendly. They bake complimentary, delicious cookies in the afternoon. We found ourselves getting additional breakfast on the town.

The staff here is so nice, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very good and the afternoon cake and wine was lovely. However, I would not recommend the room we stayed in, #9 British Colonial. It is tiny, the sink are is very close to the bed and not in the bathroom, because it’s also tiny. The mattress was lopsided and uncomfortable. The curtains wouldn’t close right and the ceiling fan didn’t work. There is no thermostat in the room so I was too warm.

Pat and her staff are amazing ! So nice, professional and communicative. The breakfast was exceptional, gourmet ! We stayed in the Captain’s Suite. It was very spacious and has its own ample balcony. The location is prime and parking is off lot but super close to the inn. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
