The Dance Underneath

The check-in was great… the young lady Eva was very nice. I then went and picked up the love of my life. We sat out on the balcony at the St Augustine Winery and had fried green tomatoes. We had dinner inside and then went to the beach where we walked, talked, held hands, listened to music, as the sun set.

Back in time

Very nice staff. Location walking distance to sights. Rooms older, creaky doors, toilets slow, scratches on paint, but updated bathroom. Its was as if going back in time of how people traveled. Breakfast served late 8am, missed that as I had to leave early, didn’t get cookies at checkin.

Luxury in St. Augustine

We had a great time. The inn was located in the middle of the historic district. We parked the car, and walked everywhere for 3 days. Room was cozy, well-appointed. There was car noise at night. Food was excellent for breakfast. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We plan to go back!

Nice location. Emerald room was very nice No Housekeeping on our stay. After 3 days small trash bins were full Nice porch great location wonderful cookies and feee sodas and waters. Al nice Except breakfast. Its was very little. Fruit cup 2 days in a tow was extremely small. The rest of breakfast was even smaller. That was a disappointment

An antique lover will feel right at home in this clean but lived in dwelling which really uses its space carefully to provide all the necessary amenities. The location is wonderful but it was the little touches that won us over: Lavender sachet for the pillows, complementary wine, sherry, water, soft drinks, cookies, chocolates on the bed and a full breakfast in the morning in addition to the normal toiletries. It’s quiet too.

Few days in St Augustine

Great place, near to major attractions in historic St, Augustine. The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. Staff were super friendly and personable. Room was clean. The only thing we noticed was that the outside of the house could use a new coat of paint. Would stay here again
