Property is right where you want to be when visiting the home of golf. The property is on the 3rd floor of a windy staircase and no elevator/lift to bring up bags, so if you’re traveling heavy, it’s quite a haul up the stairs. Bed is very comfortable and just what we were looking for. Front door lock was a bit difficult to navigate and the code given in the email for entry was different than the one actually needed, but cleared things up with Short Stay and all worked out ok. Great property and would stay there again if back in the area 100%!! Also, just a short walk to both city center area as well as the Old Course at St Andrews.

Wonderful

We had a great time in Saint Andrews.The unit was very accommodating and centrally located to golf and town. Exactly as described in website. Would recommend the unit to anyone who wants to stay in Saint Andrew’s.

Excellent Apartment. They thought of everything that you would need for a great stay. Decorated to perfection and extremely clean. Great area right near the Old Course and other activities. Loved it!!

Poor Communication

The listing is advertised as having wifi. That was not the case. No wifi was available and when contacting the listing agent (which is what we were told to do in the property’s rule book), the complaint was never addressed. We arrived in a Sunday. The rule book stated no wifi was a “non-emergent” matter and to wait until business hours (the next day) to contact the listing agent. Either by phone or email. Being from the US I was trying not to use my cellular data for extra cost and only use wifi. My first attempt to contact the agent was responded to 8hrs later with “are you still in need of assistance?” After responding yes, I never heard from them again. I should receive a refund for the amount of money I had to pay for daily use of my cellular data. But I have yet to hear from the agent.

Communication prior to our arrival was not very good. We had difficulty checking in. I was not told how to correctly enter the unit. The property was not what was expected from the website photos. The kitchen ceiling had water damage - the paint was falling from the affected area. There was a water stain on the rug. Had it not been graduation week, we would have sought an alternative accommodation.
