"Warm and comfortable cottage with everything you need from lots of cutlery, plates and dishes to DVD films and games. Headroom upstairs is a little low - I am 6’3” and my head was brushing the ceiling - but not a problem in the main downstairs bedroom where we slept. The cottage is very close to the harbour and a lovely walk to nearby Coldingham Beach. Another enjoyable walk is the coastal path to St Abbs lighthouse. The owners ensure that everything is ok, keep in touch and are always available for any problems. We had inadvertently left an item behind which they very kindly posted back to us. We would not hesitate to return to this delightful cottage when we visit St Abbs again."

"Staying in the iconic Castle Hotel in Berwick is very convenient and close to the train staion and the town. Highly recommended if you travel by train. The hotel staff is friendly and provides free cold breakfast or charged hot breakfast. The room is clean daily and the little downside is the little drainage smell inside the room but not affected the 5 star experience."

"Excellent and would highly recommend stay, food and junior suite with hot tub. Areas of improvement: Old plumbing pipes by the hot tub in room 24 fires off unpleasant scents here and there and staff could be a bit more friendly and approachable."

"Nice easy location for Lindisfarne. Good menu, but seems to be the same one at each of this group of hotels. Decent sized room, with tea and biscuits supplied. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, but some people may prefer them this way."
