We love that they are pet friendly but we’ve stayed here probably ten or more times and I usually have to clean the room a little before unpacking. This trip, we found makeup stains on the sheets and the closet smelled a little like dog urine. Overall, it’s a nice place with a kitchenette, which is nice and the rooms are spacious. We will stay again, but will always bring Clorox wipes and cleaning products. We may even bring our own bedding next trip.

The rooms really need some updating - fresh paint, new beds. The beds are very old. I love staying at the Stratford, but it is getting very dated. Just a fresh-up would be nice. Door locks are a little sketchy.

Cozy and comfortable rooms. clean. great location. only thing I would ask for staff is to keep bowls along with utensils and dishes that were provided. Also the only pan was very old and felt unsafe to use due to all scratches and non stick coating gone.

Even though it was nonsmoking our room had a stale oder and the oven was dirty even though we didn’t use the oven and the coffee table in between the tiles were filled with crumbs plus the WiFi wasn’t working properly in the main bedroom, there was something sticky on the nightstand. I remember staying at this place a few years ago and it wasn’t bad at all, but this time a different story.
