From the time we arrived, we were treated with warmth and hospitality by the staff...from the front desk to the groundskeepers and everyone in between. The staff are amazing! The hotel was very comfortable. Having a shuttle for pick up and drop off access was a huge help! The breakfast buffet was delicious. Varies options and organic juices. The restaurant lamb was ON POINT! Drinks were affordable. A perfect stay for a business trip or vacation. I will definitely be returning when I come back to Barbados.

I went for my birthday and I was solo. The location was a bit far from tourist things to do. However, the hotel helped setup taxi and have a shuttle which I used a lot to get into town or go the beach. Akiel the driver always was on time and professional. When you first come in and see Shevika at the desk. She remembered my birthday and always kept a smile on her face.

I stayed in the spacious Suite with Garden View and really enjoyed the quite area. Staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle service very useful to reach town, the bus station or the beach.

It was farther from the airport and port than we expected. However, the staff and facilities made up for the distance. Checkin was quick and easy. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast and dinners were superb. They had delightful dinners around the pool and also at a lower location. The shuttle service was wonderful and the driver was very helpful. We got lost and the driver came and found us. Having several monkeys grazing the trees for flowers outside of our front porch was so cool and entertaining. We will come back again.

The room was very clean and the staff did a great job cleaning every day. Used the bar and it was good. Did not have time to use the spa. Swimming pool was excellent however the opening times were very late i.e 10 a.m. and it closed early. B'fast buffet good. Evening meals usually overcooked.

The Sugar Cane Club Hotel and Spa is an immaculately well maintained property. The gardens are a delight to see at this time of year, with a lot of the shrubs in bloom. The room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. The balcony was a great place to watch the sun set over the ocean. The restaurant is pleasant with attentive staff serving good, well priced meals. There were ample sun loungers around the property and the pool. The real strength of this place is the staff. Nothing too much trouble or too busy to share a bit of banter; all with a friendly smile. The only criticism I would make is due to the slightly remote location, the shuttle that takes guests to the beach and nearby Speightstown could run more often and later into the evening for those guests that want to explore the bars and restuarants, without having to specify a pickup time.
