From booking to departure our experience was excellent. The room was very nice and the addition of breakfast items and fridge welcome. They are dog friendly and it was really good to see that there was no extra charge which is rare nowadays.

I was kept fully informed of the check-in procedure (there si no desk), room information and even warnings about local road closures by email from Karen. The room was marvellous; clean, spacious and with a very shiny bathroom. The bed was the best I've slept in for ages and the quiet made for an excellent night's sleep. A lovely touch was the porridge pot and pain au chocolat left out for breakfast. The setting is spectacular; high above Sowerby Bridge with stunning views across the valley.
