Had to walk up 14 stairs to our room, have a 91 year old with limited mobility with me. They appeared full so I didn't ask to change rooms. Paid for water in their restaurant, should have been told it would cost 5 pounds prior.

Would have give 5 * overall but it didn't seem possible to cool the room lower the 19 degrees stated on the aircon although the room was considerably warmer than that. It was too warm to sleep under the beautiful duvet on the exceptionally comfortable bed. As a result I struggled to sleep - too hot all night in autumn in UK!

The layout of our suite was weird. The frosted glass bathroom door covered two electrical outlets when open. Other than that we would stay again but would bring more UK power converters.

Very good, although slightly pricey.

The hotel is very nice although I felt the cost per room was slightly high. The room was well presented and very clean, a few marks on the carpet but otherwise excellent. I would caution travellers opting for level 5 as you are directly below the bar/restaurant and you are woken early by chairs and tables being moved/dragged across the floor.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast should be included in the room price also we had to pay for the parking. All of these additional costs should be part of the room prices. And unfortunately there are no fresh vegetables available on the continental breakfast.

Good but noisy

Hotel was great and very comfy in the beds. BUT on the top floor (5) is NOT good to stay in as it’s right under the restaurant/bar. Very noisy and can hear chairs moving around all night.
