Beautiful location and ideal for the ferry (when it's operating again). Rupert is a very welcoming and knowledgeable host with many useful tips. The breakfast and lounge area were excellent. Nearby Eriskay was delightful and the AM Politician bar/restaurant is well worth a visit with great food and very friendly staff.

From the moment I was on this property I knew this is where I was meant to be. I was only there for one night, although when I return to South Uist I will certainly stay longer. The Breakfast was outstanding, the knowledge of the area from the owner and how helpful he was, was refreshing. This property and management is a 10 out of 10 for me. See you when I return :)

This B&B is set in a beautiful location. The house was clean, attractive and comfortable. Rupert is an excellent host, knowledgeable about the islands (has a pamphlet prepared which we found invaluable) is great to chat with and is a good cook! We would have no hesitation in returning.

We stayed here to catch the morning ferry. The welcome and prior communication set the scene. Rupert is a wonderful host. Ate at AM Politician on his recommendation and it was great. When our ferry was cancelled night before he gave advice that worked well for getting another ferry off the island next morning even though all was booked up for two days. Comfy beds. Good en suite and very clean. Stay with Rupert for a friendly and caring host.
