Our unique home has two separate private living quarters for the early risers and the night owls. Gather at the private heated pool and hot tub and game room. South Padre's incredible beach is located a short walk away. Close to shopping, grocery stores, and waterfront dining. The Whale House is a perfect getaway that can accommodate everyone.

The property was just as described if not better! We had an amazing vacation. The host was very easy to get ahold of and responded promptly to any messages/questions. We will definitely look into renting the Whale House again in the future.

The host was excellent in responding to everything promptly. The pool and spa were clean and refreshing. The indoor decor was beautiful and beds were comfortable. We had plenty of towels. The kitchen was lacking in high quality pans. With two kitchens, we ended up moving many kitchen accessories from up to down as there was not enough in either kitchen alone. It would be nice to have both kitchens fully equipped. Also the downstairs refrigerator did not work. The beach is a short walk and area safe with everything you will need for your vacation. Three generations enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed the spaciousness of the home. Our family of 10 was able to have separate bedrooms and all the beds were comfortable. House was clean. With some cooler days, the Hot tub and heated pool allowed us to still enjoy our time outdoors.

This house is AMAZING if you have a big group, especially with kids! The two living areas allow night owls to hang out after others go to bed, and the two kitchens had us tag-teaming a speedy meal. Made use of coffee pots in both! The pool was so fun, with many toys in the garage. Beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is a small but fun playground in walking distance (Water Tower). The only thing I would advise is *not* to plan for walking kids to the beach as it's a good distance and involves crossing a busy road (adults could likely handle it). Instead park at/near one of the "public access" points, which was very easy and did not detract at all from our stay. Thank you to hosts who communicated VERY quickly!

Property worked great for our multi-family vacation. Plenty of room and separate game space for teens. Pool and hottub was just what we wanted. Lots of local food choices close by.

We really enjoyed having a beautiful private pool/spa. The beds were comfortable. The host responded quickly to questions. The Whale House had plenty of space for 8 adults/1 toddler.

Great location and amenities. Was perfect for meeting the guide at Jim's Pier, shopping IGA and HEB and SPICG was within 20 minutes. Plenty of room for 4 of us seniors.

Good location, nice neighborhood and spacious accommodations.Unfortunately, needs some minor maintenance and the carpet is very dirty, which is the first thing you see when you get in.
