The design, decor, pool and location right on the beach were the highlights! The restaurant Landshark was good and had decent prices and the little coffee shop was convenient & friendly. The hotel poolside ladies bathroom was not clean smelling—- it smelled as if it was a porto-potty and did not improve after reporting it. sadly, because the rest of the hotel & the rooms were good to great… good value for the price overall! I recommend going to your room to use the restroom and avoiding the pool bathrooms.

The staff was either a 10/10 or a 1/10, with no middle ground. Eighty percent of the staff was 10/10, with 20% probably the worst I've experienced. An example is waiting for dining service with only one other person in the dining area. After waiting an extended amount of time and going to find a server, they help a table first that just seated themselves, making you wait longer. In total, am hour spent just waiting or trying to get the attention of the sitting and socializing staff.

Pros: Landshark bar and grill had excellent food and drinks. Loved the swim up bar, but watch the added gratuity on your bar bill! Pool was nice and clean. Hotel itself was beautiful and fun decor. Room was comfortable, good view of ocean and comfortable bed. Cons: got no maid service the entire time. Had to get stuff ourselves or call for it. Several "clean" towels were visually dirty! Chair cushions on pool chairs were stained and gross. Pool bathroom (ladies) smelled foul...all 3 days we were there! All in all, I would recommend as it was a super fun vibe and nice hotel.

Good experience with good service and good food. Things to work on: Everything that was metal was rusty, so felt a bit dirty. Trash area on the walk to the beach was a turn off. Loud trash truck on Wednesday morning from 7am to 8am was annoying; I really wanted to end my vacation with sleeping in, but couldnt.
