You could tell the place was new and nice! There are multiple restaurants by the ocean behind the place and a club next door. The noise wasn't too bothersome, and after a certain time, everything was nice and quiet. I will say, during the weekend (especially Saturday night), parking was a nightmare as many people going to the restaurants with live music parked in the hotel parking. You could see the fireworks right behind, so that was nice! Overall, I enjoyed my weekend stay here

I've stayed at many different Home2suites and this one in South Padre Island is hands down the best. Exceptional staff, house keeping does a phenomenal job as well as the maintenance staff. Someone is always cleaning inside and outside the property. Beautiful, clean pool with immaculate bbq's. Fitness center is clean and all equipment in working order. Huge parking lot. Close and within walking distance to attractions, restaurants and waterfront bars. We stayed 3 nights and most definitely will be planning a return stay. The breakfast is fresh and hot.

I booked my stay with hotels.com for a suite when I was ready to check in I was told the actual hotel overbooked and gave away my already paid in full room. That because I booked with a 3rd party I would just get whatever was available. I had planned for a suit for my stay and had to change everything due to this. Was told I could cancel if I wanted too but that's it. Very unsatisfied with this experience.
