Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the huge backyard perched on a scenic bluff with one hundred feet of Lake Michigan frontage. Inside this newly renovated home of over 3100 square feet, you will enjoy plenty of room for everyone! Home includes two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, queen under a twin bunk room and one curtained off queen room! The king bedroom closets have two toddler beds and a pack-n-play. Amenities include Starlink high speed wifi, outdoor furnished patios, expansive sunroom, new louvered pergolas across the entire back, outdoor shower, rec room with pool table and ping pong, generator, central air, two washers and dryers, propane grill, fire pit, propane fire pit, & a fully-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy the calming sound of the waves, spectacular sunsets, and star gazing. Adventurous guests can access Lake Michigan from the backyard by descending fifty wood steps that we are continually maintaining as best as possible with the shifting dune and then 80 EZ metal steps (some gradual) and then another 53 wood steps to get to the beach! We have about 30-50 feet of beach now. My son can climb up these in less than one minute but it is a workout. Accessing the beach for kids under 12 or those less adventurous, may be a challenge! Please keep this in mind before booking. We are doing our best!

Public beaches in South Haven, Saugatuck, Glenn and elsewhere are a short drive away to both the north and south of the house. In addition, you will find boutique shops, restaurants, a pier, wineries, and breweries in South Haven, Saugatuck, and the surrounding countryside.

Spend your mornings lingering with a cup of coffee in the Adirondack chairs on the bluff; the afternoons reading, playing games in the backyard (corn hole, small inflatable pools), and enjoying the water; and your evenings basking in the breathtaking colors of the sunset, grilling on the large patio overlooking Lake Michigan, enjoying a drink under the gazebo, or snuggling with a loved one on the outdoor sofas or inside by the gas fireplace.

Enjoy wine tasting at four different wineries within fifteen minutes of the home, or Saugatuck Brewing Company if you prefer a brew. Enjoy ice cream, farm-fresh produce, and bakery treats at the Dutch Farm Market about a mile from the home. South Haven is less than ten minutes south and offers great shopping, several amazing restaurants mentioned in the guest book, a movie theater, and unique art galleries. Meijer, Walmart, and Aldi are just six miles south of the house for a convenient stop for anything you may need.

The house includes all linens, bath towels, coffee, grill, fire pit, roasting sticks, a few beach chairs and umbrella, and extra beach toys. If there's anything else you'd like while staying at our lake house, please let us know and we will do out best to help with your request.

Three special notes:
1. Some of the sliders are on our list to replace and have broken locks , but when the wood bar is placed at the bottom, every door can be secured! Our neighborhood is super safe though with no incident in the 7 years we’ve owned this house. 2. The downstairs tub/shower drains slowly due to the installation design. We are replacing this one with a new shower insert in October! 3. Most people love the home and return year after year, but it does have some quirks like sand coming up the bluff, and some insects that are impossible to keep up with at a beach home, but we are continually spraying and striving as able to make the home better and better year after year!
