This was our second year staying at north beach condo and our fifth vacation in South Haven, though it was our first visit over Labor Day weekend. Overall, the property offers an excellent location directly on the waterfront, featuring a beautiful sun deck and private pool that provide outstanding views and easy access to the lake. We stayed in a well-appointed one-bedroom, one-bath unit that also includes a Murphy bed and sofa in the living area. The condo was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with extra pillows, blankets, and towels. The furnishings and appliances were in excellent condition, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for an extended stay. The unit has been nicely updated, and despite having two south-facing windows, the window air conditioner kept the space comfortably cool throughout our visit. The unit is designated as a no-pet rental, which is clearly stated in the VRBO listing. Renters are not permitted to bring pets, a policy we have always appreciated and one of the reasons we enjoy staying at this property. However, it is important for prospective guests to understand that individual condominium owners may have pets on the premises. During this visit, the presence of pets in common areas negatively impacted our experience. We encountered dogs on the sun deck and beach areas, including frequent barking and pet waste that was not always properly addressed.
