Unfortunately, our experience at this property was very disappointing, especially given the cost of over 700 per night. The master bedroom had a strong unpleasant odor, visible black mold, and a deteriorating ceiling. The master bathroom toilet frequently would not flush, requiring buckets of water, and eventually became unusable. It also had no hot water. Other bathrooms had inconsistent temperatures, with water ranging from scalding hot to cold. During our stay, the property lost both water and power for several hours. Although a generator eventually activated, it repeatedly shut down overnight and often took 15 minutes to restart. This was particularly stressful because one child in our group relies on medical oxygen while sleeping and had to depend on the machine’s backup battery during the outages. The listing advertises air conditioning, but it is limited to the bedrooms. The living room, dining room, and kitchen have no AC, making cooking and gathering indoors very uncomfortable. One bedroom never cooled adequately and could not be used as intended. Additional issues included a nonworking outdoor shower, a missing TV remote, mini refrigerators that struggled to keep food cold, a towel rack that fell from the wall, and stove/oven pilot lights that repeatedly went out while cooking. We were in frequent contact with the property manager throughout our stay and only had two nights without needing to report an issue.
