Vacation apartment with simple but functional furnishings in a large residential complex, a few steps from the sea and the beautiful beaches of Marina di Sorso. The seaside resort is located on the beautiful Gulf of Asinara, on the north coast of Sardinia, along the road that connects Porto Torres with Castelsardo. From here you can admire spectacular landscapes and wonderful sunsets with the island of Asinara in the background, which hosts the natural park and marine reserve of the same name. Due to the beautiful beaches and turquoise waters, this part of the island is also appreciated by surf lovers, windsurfers and scuba divers, among others. Along the long sandy beach you will find both free coastal sections and paid bathing establishments, as well as all kinds of services, bars and restaurants. The nearby village of Sorso (5 km) has an impressive local center and art-historical sites with Roman and Phoenician evidence. Sardinia has an ancient culinary tradition, so be sure to try the many fish and meat specialties, as well as the excellent local wines and cheeses. Spartan simple

The appartment is at a fairly good location, near the beach, about 5 minutes walking. The appartment is spacious but lacks air conditioning and there is only one poorly working fan which of course is not enough for the 3 bedroons. Since the area is full with mosquitos, and there are is no net on the windows it is almost impossible to have a good night rest. You will either die of the heat or if you leave your windows open for air, you will be eaten by the mosquitos. There is a washing machine, which is a comfort....but that is about it. We had to carry our trash to a public waste dumping area, since the local waste management never came to pick up any of our trash. The owner charged us for cleaning an extra 100 euros......still do not know why.......tó clean after we leave????? Oh, and we will be charged for electricity consumption.......that is not included in the rental price. For sure.....will never come back here again. With a few things this place could be made an excellent accomodation......but the owner needs to invest just a little in it. What a shame!
